It’s time for you to meet another member of the wonderful team at Nimble! Carrying on our Meet the Team blog series – letting you get to know the real team ‘behind the screens’, get ready to meet Annie!

Meet Annie; Nimble Media’s superstar Sales Executive. Annie joined team Nimble in 2018 and is known around the office for her love of Bruce Springsteen and her dislike towards warmer weather!

Here’s a bit more about Annie including the strangest thing she’s ever eaten and where she would go if she had access to a time machine.

Since working at Nimble, what is your proudest achievement?

My proudest achievement since working at Nimble is definitely being a part of the launch of The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge. It is such a great event and I have learnt so much about the logistics and supply chain industry whilst working on it. I love seeing the enthusiasm of the teams competing and know that we are helping to encourage more people to take equality, diversity and inclusion more seriously within the workplace.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Nimble?

Without a doubt my favourite thing about working at Nimble is the people I work with; we are such a close-knit team that works together to achieve outstanding results, everyone helps each other, and we have some great fun along the way.

What’s your favourite and least favourite biscuit?

You can’t beat a digestive in bed on a Sunday morning with a cup of real coffee! I’d have to say my least favourite would be a fig roll…

What is your favourite song?

It’s a toss up between Bat out of Hell by Meatloaf and The River by Bruce Springsteen.

If you were stranded on a tropical island, what two things would you want with you?

My Husband and a box of good books would be great. Although, matches and a tent might be more practical!

What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Chocolate Ants – and no I didn’t like them…

If you had access to a time machine, where and when would you go?

I would go back to when I was a kid so I could spend some time with my Mum & Dad again.

What would be your perfect Sunday?

That would depend on the time of year, in the summer a BBQ in the garden with friends and family; in the Winter, I’d want to be curled up on the sofa with a good book or a good movie and a crackling fire.
