The Queen was most interested and touched to hear about your ‘Station to Station’ event of celebrations, planned by your team to mark this milestone during the weekend of 10-12th June. What a fabulous event! Such a unique opportunity for teams to have so much fun away from formalised environments. Everyone is on a level in their sports kit and team shirts, no suits or uniforms. Within the charity sector, it is essential to create innovative fundraising ideas, however the real skill often lies in the planning and creativeness to develop these concepts into successful fundraising events.
Nimble Media have successfully achieved both for Railway Children. The innovative team within Nimble had the foresight and tenacity to take a concept and develop it into an incredibly prestigious event, involving The Orient Express, Tornado Engine, Fireworks on the River Thames as the train passes over and so much more, making it an incredibly memorable event for some of the leading individuals and companies from within the Rail Industry. It is thanks to Nimble Media that the event raised £283,000 and marked the charities 20th year via what was the most fitting of occasions.
