Championing the cause for disabled drivers, passengers and Blue Badge holders, Disabled Motoring UK lobbies government and businesses across the UK, in order to improve parking, refuelling and access provision for disabled people, so that they can access the goods and services that they need

As well as being a campaigning charity for disabled drivers, passengers and Blue Badge holders, Disabled Motoring UK also campaigns for and support passengers, scooter and wheelchair users, families and carers.

Our information officers can answer members’ questions about accessible parking, vehicle adaptations, congestion charging and other issues that affect everyday life.

The organisation’s monthly magazine, Disabled Motoring, includes information on current campaigns, the latest news and reviews of vehicles, scooters and mobility aids, as well as features on everything from accessible holidays to vehicle reviews. The magazine is free to members, who also benefit from a wide range of concessions and our confidential casework service.

Distribution

Disabled Motoring UK has over 18,000 highly engaged members and subscribers who access its valuable content across all multimedia platforms – including its website, social media and email newsletters. All of which have the potential to help you reach your customers.

The print run and distribution of the Disabled Motoring UK magazine is 5,500 each month, circulated directly to members – with a further 1000 copies of selected issues printed for distribution at Motability and other industry events throughout the year. In addition, a digital version of the magazine is distributed to over 8,000 online subscribers each month, as well as being provided to advertisers and other supporters for their own marketing campaigns. We are aware that some advertisers like to include the magazine in their new client or marketing emails and email signatures. Selected features, blog posts and updated news items are also regularly shared via our social media channels to our online audiences.
