It’s time for you to meet another member of the wonderful team at Nimble! Carrying on our Meet the Team blog series – letting you get to know the real team ‘behind the screens’, get ready to meet Jim!
Jim is Nimble’s awesome Graphic Designer and loves a Nimble get-together! Jim always leaves us all in stitches – we all have a “Jim story” to tell.
Here’s a bit more about Jim including how he first got into Graphic Design and where he would go if he had access to a time machine!
Since working at Nimble, what is your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement since working with Nimble Media is definitely being a part of the first-ever Discover Rutland Visitor Guide. It was definitely a challenge but I was really pleased with how it turned out.
How did you first get into graphic design?
I started working as an apprentice at a local design studio near Nottingham when I was 17 years old and took it from there!
Where are we most likely to find you outside of work?
Relaxing in the garden or at my radio-controlled model flying club!
If you could buy any type of food (right now) what would you buy?
Cheese and Onion Kettle Crisps. They’re my favourite!
What’s your favourite thing about working at Nimble?
The people – they are such a lovely bunch! Although I work remotely, I still feel like part of the Nimble family.
Are you a morning or a night person?
I’d say I am a morning person – specifically an early morning person. This is when I enjoy walks with my dog before breakfast as it gets me in the right mindset for the day.
What is your favourite song?
Don’t Look Back in Anger – Oasis
If you had access to a time machine, where and when would you go?
I would go back to the 90’s in my own body and try to become the drummer in Oasis.
What is your best childhood memory?
Flying a kite with my Grandad on the beach and catching crabs.
